I held the first PL/SQL-specific conference back in November 2005 in order to
celebrate the PL/SQL language and the tenth anniversary of the publication of my
first book Oracle
PL/SQL Programming. The conference was so enthusiastically received
that ODTUG agreed to organize it as an annual event. I am very excited to know
that PL/SQL developers and Oracle DBAs now have a conference that focuses like a
laser beam on one of the key enabling technologies in the Oracle
world.
OPP2008 features two days packed full of 1.5 hour training
sessions from a number of outstanding, highly-regarded Oracle technologists,
including Oracle PL/SQL Product Manager Bryn Llewellyn. You will learn about key
Oracle 11
g features and how to best apply them in your applications.
You will find out about critical best practices and performance optimization
techniques. You will get to spend time with some of the finest PL/SQL
technologists in the world.
Below are some more details about the
conference. Hope to see you there!
