One of the most frequent questions we are asked is; how to manipulate the XML Types for DreamCoder for Oracle. Before it was a complicated task to manipulate this type of field since DreamCoder only recognized XML types as a simple text field and only  enabled the edition option in the form view.

We have decided to incorporate an option that not only will make it easier to manipulate the fields, but also, will allow the transformation of the XML and the hierarchical visualization of XML.

Using the XML Viewer:

The XML Viewer is activated when the user clicks on the small button inside the XML Type field located on the data grid, after the XML Viewer is open the user can modify a XML, and if you have a XSLT template you may proceed to change the contend thus validating the XML.



In addition, the user will be able to better understand XML thanks to the hierarchical view it offers in the tree which helps to easily see your mistakes in the XML compositions.
